I’m inclined to agree! But of course, once someone begins presenting in a less-typical way, there are all sorts of real-world consequences that can impact their lives negatively. So I can appreciate the importance of distinguishing between people who have little difficulty “fitting in” and those who can’t and therefore risk greater stigma. The internal traits can be the same, but the experience of moving through the world can be a lot different and probably warrants different support.
